Our professional sales staff has over 70 years of combined experience in the
auto electric industry and has been providing services throughout the northeast
for jobbers, fleets, and garages. They have most of the information you
need right at their fingertips, so with any questions or problems you may
encounter, rest assured that you will get the answers you need.
Parts Department
Alternator and Starter Resource has one
of the most up-to-date and complete inventories in the northeast for your
auto electric needs. We have complete service parts and units for import and
domestic vehicles of all types including car, bus, truck, industrial, agricultural,
EMS, etc.
Our friendly staff has numerous years of experience also. They will
go out of their way and go that extra mile to get the parts that youre requesting
as soon as you need them and/or help you solve your electrical issues.
Shipping Department
Our shipping department has an impeccable
record for complete shipments and same-day service. The orders that are called
in or faxed leave the same day of your request. We also accept Visa or MasterCard
for your convenience.
Rebuilding Shop
We offer complete in-house remanufacturing
of alternators, starters and pump motors. Our rebuilders do custom rebuilding
in addition to the production line type rebuilding for stock units. With over
70 years of experience, ASR’s
rebuilders can handle any work that comes through our door. Anything from
cars, buses and trucks to industrial, agricultural and EMS, you can be confident
that 95% of the time your vehicle will be ready within 24 hours. Rush jobs
can usually be handled between 1 to 3 hours.
In addition to remanufacturing, we custom build battery cables for cables of
any size, from 8 through 000 gauge cables. You can measure your old cables and
provide a description of the terminal ends, or you can just bring them in and
create them. Our rebuilders take pride in their work with each and every unit
they rebuild, so feel confident that when you bring in a unit to Alternator and
Starter Resource, you'll get priority service backed by a one year warranty.
